Our Values

Having worked in Hackney for decades, Michele has witnessed the unacceptable decline in the quality and affordability of Nursery spaces accessible to local families. Having managed an independent Nursery for over a decade, Michele was frustrated by the focus on ‘profit over provision’ policy that was followed by the owner after attaining an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating. We ensure that every minute, in every hour, in every day, for every child at our setting is one that is enriched, meets each of their needs and puts each of them before the pound.

Each child is a unique, independent learner from birth, and we strive tirelessly to provide an environment, a curriculum and a routine, in union with parents and carers, to support each child to flourish and reach their full potential.

Angels on The Park nurtures a close and lasting relationship with every child and their family and ensures that every child’s holistic need is met.

All children learn, but they don’t learn in the same way, at the same rate or at the same time. Each child and their family work closely with a Key Practitioner and the Key Practitioner with them who, in partnership with parents, will observe, learn and plan activities and learning experiences for children that will reinforce and challenge their learning and development.

Each child’s independent skills will be encouraged and practiced and they will be supported in making sense of the world around them from a secure and healthy Nursery base.
